Rosegold looks better suited for more situations and attire. This is coming from someone who dresses casual 99% of time and doesn’t wear any yellow gold. The RG has grown on me over time.

I’m usually not a fan of YG at all but I think it looks great on you and really pops nicely.

I’m going to offer an unsolicited opinion here: consider white gold. The RG, particularly with the chocolate dial, blends in too much. And I’m going to guess that someone acquiring a gold 40mm DD with diamonds hot markers isn’t going for subtle…

That said, there YG tones seem to clash a little. WG with silver or meteorite dial would be my recommendation.

Normally with these two I would vote YG, but seeing them on your wrist, the rose gold looks better.

Are you looking at the right picture? Surely you dont think that Rose Gold suites this mans skin tone more than the YG goes.

That YG looks beautiful on him and his skin tone. The RG doesnt.

Id say go for yellow gold, champagne dial with baguettes. Thats the day date as its meant to be. Rosegold is on trend now, but yellow has the staying power.

On the RG, I think it's the dial that really throws things off, since the dial and skin tones are so close to one another.

With darker skin tones, YG will always be more noticeable but the RG would definitely look better with a different dial.

Yes, I completely agree with dannyp.

I have a friend with the same dark skin and he wears RG with lighter dial, it still looks very good on him. YG is too much contrast and screams look at me.

I like the yellow gold on you. Both are beautiful, but yellow gold pops more.
