I am waiting for the WG version.
Thank you! Well to be honest I’m not sure - the AD said they received it in June so it should be but then it doesn’t have the gold markers which are pictured on the Rolex website. However, I actually prefer the black markers so was happy when I picked it up! Hope you receive your WG version soon, it’s a stunner also.

Thanks Ash, yeah for some reason this dial combination isn’t as popular or common as the white gold or chocolate but I think sundust is one of Rolex’s best dial colours in any watch! Still waiting to add an AP to the collection but hopefully soon!

Thanks Vince, I was delighted to pick it up and it’s my first Daytona. Yeah the diamond baguette version is also a stunner for sure.

That's the most beautiful Daytona configuration. Congratulations, enjoy and wear it in good health!

Congrats! Still sounds a little unclear if this is the older pink dial or the newer Sundust dial. I would love to see a side by to side to see the difference. From the pictures this actually appears to be the pink dial since it matches so closely to the case color, but I know lighting can play a large part in that as well so hard to tell. If you consider pics of the DD40 with Sundust dial, those dials are significantly lighter than the RG case material. I haven't seen any pics of the updated version so it's a tough one to guess or answer.

Awesome piece either way and congrats!

Awesome piece either way and congrats!

It’s the older pink dial…not new sundust.

You can tell by the hour markers. These are black around the lume. New sundust is everrose around the lume.

Good thing you snagged it as this dial option was discontinued this year for the new sundust dial.
