I have both also and, although they share the same name, they are so different it's incredible.

Your photo of the Rootbeer is a nicer shot, so that's my preference of the two. Lucky for you, you don't have to choose now that you have both - congrats!

Tough choice. I like my BLNR as it is, which is on oyster. But for the BLRO definitely going for jubilee to add some variety. Thanks for your wishes.

I tried to take few wrist shots under different lighting condition. You are right, still want to keep both in my collection

I have 4 GMTs, all of them are gorgeous, for ranking I would say:

#1 WG Pepsi Meteorite dial
#2 TT Rootbeer
#3 Pepsi and Batman

Congrats!

Congratulations! Indeed although both are GMT Master II's, they each give out very different vibes, both gorgeous and awesome pieces!

Yes indeed, that’s why many enthusiasts here own multiple pieces and never tired of it.

I have both, Pepsi edges it as root beer isn’t an everyday throw on. It’s more a night out- wedding kind of watch. Pepsi really is an everyday as the more muted later models make it less blingy than a Batman.

I worry about scratching my root beer and it’s very noticeable but it’s lovely

I don’t have issue wearing rootbeer with causal outfit (might be I’m old enough to carry lol)

And true, I got few scratches on the RG part of the bracelet.

Right, looks like very similar wrist size ~16.3cm and I can’t carry > 50mm lug to lug watches

It’s interesting because despite the gold, the root beer is actually less eye catching and flashy to my eye.
