I think you might still be overpaying on the cash side, based on prices in my local grey market.

Financially the figures are a little too far away for me,. If the deal can be done without the cash element then its certainly a little sweeter.

Yes, but with far less cash involved on top!

Raw deal, wouldn't do it, plus I would never get rid of the SD43.

I wouldn't, but I like the SD43 way better than either watch you'd trade for. Even if I was interested in either of the brand new watches, the cash on top makes that deal crazy to me. But it boils down to if the two new watches are what you'd enjoy and you don't enjoy the other 3, then it is what it is, go for it; as long as you understand you are not getting a deal by any means.

If you don't want your current watches and do want the two new ones and the money is not an issue, yes.

No one is really posting anything too helpful, so here it goes:

Your watches have a trade value of about 25k, plus 10k you are at 35k to 37k.

Blro and 12lv bnib about 39k market. It's a reasonable offer.

I'm sorry but unless you know the market pricing, the responses on this thread don't mean much.

Good luck.

No

Those 3 watches are fantastic. Swapping for 2 similar watches with 10k on top. Doesn’t pass the smell test.

You will get more wear and more variation out of the three you have.. enjoy them

This is usually what you get into when you start looking for a trade. My advice, from someone who'd done their share, is to try to limit trades to a one for one only, especially so if you're talking trading steel for steel. SS for PM...now that might be a different story, depending on the right set of variables.

IMO, I would not let the SD43 go. But, that's me.

He’s not talking about the Kermit. He talking about the Ceramic Kermit aka Cermit. Different goofy nicknames for different watches

Have to agree.

OP, it really come down to knowing what you want and what works best on your wrist. Your wallet, your wrist

Yes. I would. Because I like those 2 you’d get more than the 3 you have, but having to add $8-10k is way too much.

Nein.
Ньет.

I prefer the SD43 compared to Cermit. The DJ Wimbledon dial and white OP39 add more variety than the BLRO (I prefer the 16710).

That's my personal perspective ofcourse, it only matters what you like.

If the 3:2 split gets you what you want then sure -
- but I wouldn’t give that much cash, too, because you’re already bleeding value in the trade in my opinion.

Giving up 2 watches, + 9k, for 2 other watches. Both sides are close enough retail wise that the 9k makes no sense. However, given the current hype, the pepsi and cermit are "worth" way more than the other 2 watches, and even if you add the 9k in cash the pepsi and cermit still have more "value". If its just about the money and you have no way of getting either at retail (or you dont want to wait), then yeah i would do it. Basically trading up in my opinion.
