They are at plenty of grey market dealers and some of them are not at double the correct retail price, but some are more than double.

Did I get mine before you? I bought mine on the secondary market just had to have it and i was never going to get it at retail. I rotate my watches a lot and it’s been in the safe a while, I tend to wear my PM watches more sparingly and save them for special occasions but I’m strongly considering making this my daily watch now it’s just so good.

It has gone from hard to get to nearly impossible to get in the last 10 months or so. Legit VIPs only at an AD will be offered a BLRO meteorite.
I originally inquired with my AD about one in Sept 2020, and he said he doesn't have anyone else asking about it and thinks he could order one for me or at least offer me the next one his store receives. Well, fast forward a month or two and he tells me all of sudden it's become a hot piece and Rolex has moved it to allocation only - like all sports models now apparently, PM or SS. Basically, very doubtful I will ever get one from an AD. A year ago it sold for maybe $4k over retail and now it's approaching double retail. That tells you everything. |

My AD hasn’t ever seen one, nor a green dial Daytona.

Pretty much the same thing for Daytona OFs. I was told in the Fall of 2020 that I could order any Daytona OF and it would be 8 to 16 weeks. Well, that changed suddenly in 2021. My AD told me they no longer can order anything besides DateJusts and some DayDates. They’re at the mercy of the mothership on allocations for everything else. I snoozed and Iost out…getting a Daytona OF now has also required a lot of patience and the unknown waiting game. As with anything Rolex, that’s just my experience and in no way is meant to indicate any sort of policy across ADs. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My AD has only received 2 since it's release. I was fortunate to get one. Waited several months for it.

Some of the members here who are established buyers with LOTS of Rolexes have reported pretty long waits prior to getting these.

Took myself off the EOI for a Daytona meteorite. Only allowed one professional model EOI so may as well make it something more realistic (I asked for the 36mm Mk 1 steel Explorer) but imagine it may be a wait.
My preferred AD however knows I'm celebrating a birthday! |

Lol at the responses. It was a serious question. I have not being following the market during the pandemic as much as others have on here. I guess I’ll just save my money then and look for something else
