For me personally, it really depends on my mood, how early it is, and what the skies looks like.

So it could range from walking out on the deck in a Santos during yellow mornings, sedna Seamaster during orange skies, or a Daytona with grey clouds above. It's all very poetic to me

Wow man, I just wish I had a lazy morning every now and then to begin with, sleep about 3-5 hours a night during the week when I work and have to get out of bed early on the weekends too as we have a young baby and a dog to tend to. My black 116710LN keeps me good company with that rhythm, as does my IWC Pilot Chrono. Now when I get to enjoy a lazy evening at a nice restaurant on the other hand, I have a two beautiful Lange Ones to rise to the occasion.

Whichever is scheduled to be on my wrist that week. The rest are sitting quietly in the bank secure box.

I did that 3-5 hours a sleep per night for a while, it’s brutal. I hardly ever sleep 8, my average is likely around 6 now but, that sleep is so important. You can do it on 6-7, but 3-5 will destroy you over time.

Haha, you’re right, back when I had weekends as a release valve it was much easier, but ever since we got the baby, I will have to adjust over time. Problem is if you’re sitting in Switzerland and dealing mainly with the US, the time difference (-6 in NYC to -9 in Silicon Valley) mandates availability at night, and nobody here locally seems willing to work with someone who only shows up on the job at noon :)

A slow morning with coffee and newspaper is the perfect time for something vintage. For me, that usually only happens on Sundays, and I’d be wearing an old vintage Seiko.

Last winter always wore my tough Deep Blue to go out and clear snow from our property.

Wow, what a coincidence. I have been consuming all manner of You Tube videos and online articles about this watch in the last few days. I want this!
