Please don't. Get a nice leather strap or put it back on the bracelet.

That band doesn’t work. It’s too thick vertically and looks too thick (squished) horizontally as well. I like the idea though, put it on a green nato and I think it would be better.

I like green, but that is too much for my taste.

Honest, I’m not sure that I have a problem with the color, but that Everest strap is just too large for that lug size. It just doesn’t look right.

And I’m someone who loves to swap Everest straps on his watches! Just today, I put a blue curved end rubber on my 16613 Bluesy, and it’s really pretty!
(and of course, I throw the bracelet on now and then, too!)

Hell, this is all part of the fun!!! Go ahead and be daring!

My question is why buy the watch in the first place?

…and “NO”.

So, I apologize for the tone of some of our respectable group. You asked a straightforward question and you’re getting some real negative responses.
Of course, everyone has a right to their opinion and you sure are seeing the wide diversity of how people respond.

As I said before, it’s not so much the color, it’s that the particular rubber strap you’ve photographed, just doesn’t set off an elegant watch very well. That strap is usually put onto a sport watch, and maybe that’s why people are reacting like this. Who knows?
Anyway, we all wish you well, and keep on experimenting!
