And suddenly the watch I bought at 12 years old in an alley of New York City is worth millions...the original Olex.

Richard Branson purchases Rolex, renames it Virgin-In-Time and releases the "Cosmonaut" Daytona.

Elon Musk retaliates by installing G-Shocks in all Teslas.

It's true....my AD said so

For all new 32xx watches Rolex will deliver a free of charge timegrapher to each customer.

Hot News: Rolex HQ just announced that they will also launch in 2022 a set of giveaways: list of hot nicknames, special loupes, protection films, and cleaning cloths, all with a big golden crown emblem.

Rolex new strategy will be to have Authorized Grays since they are the only ones with their watches available. They will also introduce an official gray price list

Each household will only be entitled to 1 watch per year and no more queuing on the list. The distribution will be via online therefore no more authorised dealers are required.

Kinda hard to even be interested or excited when you can't even see the watches in a store let alone buy it. On top of that most ADs treat customers that are stopping in like beggars during a plague.
People are still waiting for releases from 2-3 Basels ago, so like them anything I like/want from Rolex is currently available and in waiting so not interested in going in to pester AD for something else.
Having said that, only one watch would have me really excited, a palm or fluted motif dial Datejust in 41mm, second to that would be an Explorer 1 in 39(which is not happening).

So essentially, kinda don't care.

Great points. About the only basel release I've even seen over the last five years is the YM WG 42 which was in the case on one visit, and the SD43 on my wrist. Never seen any of the other big releases in person, never!

Perfect , Same here the only thing I would be excited about would be that Titanium Rolex Yachtmaster that was being worn in this years America’s cup , And that may never be a production piece, I am lost in where I figure in the AD waiting game tbh, I drop in occasionally hear how well they are doing etc but are never offered anything I showed a interest in ,so currently am buying other things in life and are realising they are only watches ,

Project Vienna (many TRF readers will be familiar with this from the 2021 rumours) comes to fruition with a dress-style chronograph - hopefully including a date feature. Lots of credible leaks about this line of development.
