DJ. It has just enough sport and just enough elegance. Plus you have size options if needed.

I don’t understand your question. Why does anyone ask questions…? to glean information Because we’re conflicted, ignorant, confused, uninformed. We want to hear from others, their thoughts, rationale, opinions perspectives in hopes of , of gaining clarity . Like any other opinion or advice.

YM fan here but of these two I would go blue DJ. More versatile and classic, stunning dial and like the combo with the fluted bezel. Don’t like the bezel color/contrast on the YM but they are overall two great pieces. Good luck!

12-11 YM lead is shrinking

i i do love both. I love the Jubilee and fluted combo. But i equally love the bezel and sunburst dial of the YM. More thoughts and opinions are needed.

Sell me on one!

I’d go DJ41 since I have a Submariner.

I'd say DJ with Jubilee and Fluted bezel. For me very few watches scream Rolex like a DJ. The DJ will wear better long term as the YM PCL will show age and wear quickly. DJ will also go with literally anything from a old hoodie to a formal suit.

YM for me, I own one. Bezel looks great still after years on my wrist at work. DJs remind me of the dreaded 80s/90s fakes that plagued the nation.

This

If you already have a sub or gmt on oyster go DJ on jubilee. If not the YM would be it. I like to have a variety of bracelet and styles before adding “redundant” looks.

Which blue dial is better?

The YM dial is so interesting especially with the red seconds hands. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the bezel, under some light, or lack of it, the bezel looks like the one Sector watched uses.
The DJ on the other hand has not a single glitch in design.

Yachtmaster. I love the its design language and how it was executed much more than the DJ.

I’d go the dj.
However if it was the rhodium YM,
It might be a different story.

Yacht-master 40.

Having owned the DJ41 in blue (and now currently own in the Wimbledon dial variation), I feel the Yacht-master blue has more "pop" and presence.

The red seconds hand and red lettering also give it something special. Underrated watch IMO.

Yacht Master for me.
I've owned both and always regard the Yacht Master as a better looking watch with more style than the rather old fashioned DJ.
I have traded out of both however!

For the best blue get the Dj. I have the 36, 116234. I used to have 41 and downsized but the blue is the same. And in my opinion better than the Ym blue.

YM was my choice. I had opportunity to purchase either. I found the DJ underwhelming in person and the YM the exact opposite. I have had more comments from friends and family when wearing my YM also. It's an underrated stunner.
