Tudor GMT date wheel issue 2nd time
Morning all,
Dropped my 2018 Tudor GMT off at the AD yesterday for the 2nd time for it to be sent off to Rolex service centre kent with the date wheel issue. Received 30th September 2018, in August 2019 it started getting stuck between dates, I had the email address for the service centre manager in St James Square RSC so emailed him about it and he said sent it to us (Goldsmiths sent it to Kent not SJS). So off it went on 26th August 2019. 2018-2019 it was really my weekend/travelling watch, but for whatever reason I was wearing it the day lockdown struck in UK in 2020 and it became my daily pretty much for the whole of lockdown. Its run brilliantly. Up until around 30th September 2021, I was on nights and the date window jumped 2 days, reset it and the following day it jumped 2 days again. So emailed the service centre manager again, explained the situation and he said either "send it off to us again or get your AD to put a request in for a completely new GMT" now I've made some memories with this watch, few marks on it so decided to keep the watch and just get the new mechanism again. Anybody else had to send their's off twice? three times? I thought the warranty period was only 2 years on these, seems it might be 3 years? should I be asking Tudor UK to extend this for me now? or will they anyway?
