Congratulations!! Stunning piece. I also had the same dilemma of deciding between the two dial options. Ultimately went with the blue and love it.

Agreed! I have been wearing it all day and it is the most comfortable Rolex in my collection and that includes the Explorer. Not sure how that is possible, but it is my experience so far!

This sums up my thoughts exactly! As good as our pictures look, the watch still surprises you...it is quite magical in the sunlight!

Congrats! The case is sublime and the watch hugs your wrist perfectly. I also enjoy the low height which slides easily under dress shirts.

Thank you, sir! I am thrilled with it! I learned long ago to keep the loupe in the drawer and just wear and enjoy my new watches :)

Thanks! I am loving the low-profile curvy case. It really conforms to the wrist. Amazing!

Thank you, my friend! The YM is so much more comfortable than my Hulk it just hugs the wrist perfectly. It is like the "wrist presence" of a gold Submariner with the comfort of an Explorer...quite remarkable!

I absolutely loved mine and the only reason I sold it was because I'm a klutz and it was only a matter of time until I scarred the hell out of that sand-blasted finish on the bezel - which can only be put right at a R$C. I do miss it though...

I can imagine! I tend to be pretty careful with my watches, but even if something happens, the bezel is easy enough to replace at RSC.

slate, I'm killing myself now for not buying it two years ago when I was down in the Carribean on a cruise, the 3 AD i went to all had it (that was the only SS sport model they had, everything else sold), at that time I was still looking for the old platinum face

thx!

Currently my favorite piece.
I made a photoshop of mine with a cerachrom bezel. Wished Rolex would come out with something like this one day.

Huge congrats, Charles!!

You’ve taken some amazing pics. Could be the best I’ve seen of this beauty.

I 100% think you made the right call with the grey. A cohesive whole with some lovely blue accents. For me, the dark blue dial feels a bit constricted within the light platinum bezel.

Thank you, my brother! This makes a great stablemate for the Hulk. I agree with you re: the blue dial. I think the Rhodium/Slate opens things up quite a bit and it is brilliant in person!

Thank you, my friend! I very much appreciate the compliment. Those pics turned out better than I had hoped. The dial is really mesmerizing in the sun!
