Nice! There's never a dull moment seeing SS Daytona pics, (im)patiently waiting for more!

Now I couldnt help but to ask, what's up with the crushed/submerged box, your Fedex guy drove through the red sea to deliver you the watch? I guess cudos to the sender for some really good packing job?

I don’t know what happened to the box? Of course no one has any answers. It went from Texas to Pennsylvania overnight and neither place was raining. The way this box was wet, it had to of been thrown in a bucket of water or in the back of a truck that was flooded. Of course the watch would have been fine but all the boxes, tags, warranty cards and items for a watch of this caliber and high value are extremely important to keep pristine. I lucked out because Thanh Takuya is a absolute pro at what he does.

Talk about the worst possible nightmare for a new Daytona Panda being delivered to a WIS. These are the kind of things that gives forum members sleepless nights waiting on their watch to be delivered. I guarantee this story will haunt the minds of incoming watches for months.

Wow! Nice watch.

Whew! No damage from FexEx (good thing for plastic).

Huge congrats Mystro. She’s a beauty and certainly a tough ‘gal’ to have come through that start in her journey!

Congratulations! Also, now I’m inspired to get my 50 year old self to the gym today rather than simply drink beer and watch baseball . . .

I don't even know where to begin. I think I am similarly anal with my stuff and I can completely imagine the feeling when you saw that box. I'll admit I would not have thought about the waterproofing aspect on packing, kudos to your seller.

Congrats to you for picking up what is for so many of us, the dream watch. Looking forward to some wrist shots. I always love hearing these ding dongs say the Daytona would make a good lady's watch but is too small for a man. I expect it will look perfect on your wrist as it will, hopefully, someday on mine :) I plan to bookmark your upcoming high quality picture to link in one of those future debates. No pressure though haha.

the grey market price is insane now, but as long as you like the watch it's worth it. glad that the box and papers also passed the water test. huge congratulations!

Thanks so much. This forum knows how important watches are to a WIS.
I had a chuckle today thinking I am a midlife crisis WIS cliché and didn’t even know it. It’s always said when a guy turns 50 he goes out and buys a expensive sports car like a Porsche GT3RS. Here in our world of the WIS, I turned 50 and bought a SS Daytona Panda and Pepsi. The WIS equivalent of buying a GT3RS.
