We picked it up five days after our anniversary and I’ve been wearing it ever since. |

This is surprising to learn. Always felt like the Cellini was a unique offering from Rolex that stood out. Sure it’s not as popular as the sports models, but they’re beautiful and refined watches.

I love the Cellini … if they made it in Yellow Gold, I would already have it in my collection.
My AD “told me” (I know) the same thing,”Rolex is discontinuing the Cellini line … we cannot order them anymore.” My hope is that at worst, this will be a reboot for Rolex Cellini, and that we will see it again. |

The first AD not only said that there was no way I could get the watch I wanted, he also said that for whatever watch I ended up with I'd have to "fill out some paperwork," pay in full up front, and then it would be anywhere from 6 to 18 months before I'd get the watch. Not being interested in giving the AD an interest-free loan for up to 18 months, we went to a different AD. The second AD said that they normally take a deposit, but if the watch I ordered is something that they would need for their stock (and he said that all fluted bezel and jubilee bracelets fit that category), they wouldn't need a deposit. He also promised that he would do his best to get the watch (Sundust dial) that I wanted. And he did. What a world of difference between the two ADs! |
