The folks there are more friendly and knowledgeable about Tudor than SAs at other outfits. In fact they turned me into the brand, as did Dan Pierce (the TRF version of David Beckham) and his fantastic pics here lol. If anyone in the SE USA needs a Tudor contact, pm me and id be happy to put you in touch with them directly.
You calling me an enabler? Thanks for the kind words, my friend.

Not sure Beckham is on board with the comparison though.

Not bad. Nothing to get excited about though. I think I prefer the standard pelagos.

IMO this is super cool! Truly a tool watch as opposed to a fashion one.

In being a non-diver with smaller wrists I will probably pass, but I love that Tudor was just like "this may not have mass appeal, but we're making it anyway"

I agree, especially since the standard pelagos has one of the best bracelet/clasps ever.

I do like the no date and thinner case, but those don’t push me over the edge to this one over the standard.

Looking at all the images (especially this one below) , if its the same diameter as the regular Pelagos, I'm struggling to accept that its lug to lug is 2 mm longer

I like it, but I'm slightly disappointed with the LL size. If it doesn't take off , and i could get 10 or 15% off, i would totally add it to my collection.

My exact thoughts. At first I was a bit disappointed about some choices, but the more I think about them, the more they make sense from an actual usable aspect.

The fixed lugs means no spring bars popping out or breaking, meaning you won't lose it.

The bezel is lumed meaning you can read it in the dark.

The size is practical for viewing under water and you can actually use it with gloves on.

The material makes it light and not top heavy for when you carry it on a strap.

Overall a no fuss watch, think I might go for it

was kinda hoping for a smaller case...basically a BB58 version of this.

still dig it. hopefully the lug width isn't some oddball number. it's on my list once the hype dies down.

I'm very glad it stayed at 42mm, the bigger teeth on the bezel look MUCH better as well, I wish they would add that bezel to the standard Pelagos! No date and fixed lugs with a strap would make this a perfect weekend beater watch. The only thing I'm not sure about is the blue, I think I like it more than the standard blue Pelagos (that always struck me as the blue from a childrens animation movie), but blue in general is a tough sell for me. Hopefully I can see it in person sometime soon.

If it was black with a black strap, I'd be adding it right away, but probably not replacing my ETA Pelagos.
