I had a different experience at the AP store in Vegas several years ago Feb. 2016 to be exact. SA was very courteous, showed me several timepieces including the ROO Panda and Millenary. I inquired about the 15202 was told give a deposit and you'll have it by the end of the year. Nevertheless, I didn't pull the trigger as I was not ready at the time. Which I now regret.
On the other hand, the boutique in Beverly Hills, the SA didn't really want to show anything and basically said, you want the 15202, pay it in full upfront and we will get it to you in about 9-12 months. Rude to say the least.

In this market I'd take that deal to be assured I'd get the watch.

A bygone era. Today, pay it in full and you can have the 15202 in 9-12 months, you fall on your knees, throw your arms around the SAs ankles and kiss their feet.
