When you look at it Jay is posting pics of his Tiffany and John is announcing a new G Shock. Yes not on the same level
100000%

Cant even compare JM with Jay Z. Totally different leagues. Jaz controls multi-billion dollar organizations. You would be surprised how many music artists actually work for Jay Z.

Considering he was sending out Daytonas as Dinner Party Invitations a while back, I'd be willing to guess he's the #1 client to every AD in NYC

Does not do a thing for me in that color. Of course a matter of opinion, but I think it looks horrible on him

Are we sure he wasn't the person who bid for it at Phillips? I could see him wanting to do it for the tax write off alone...

I was kind of wondering that. Was it Hodinkee that reported the winner was NYC-based?

Either way, I wouldn't be surprised one if he was gifted one, paid retail, or dropped millions.

How many more are ‘free’? Only us watch enthusiasts paying for them.

My bad, I wasn't very clear. We're not paying for them because we're not getting them. I would, however, be happy to pay for one if offered the opportunity to acquire one.

Jay Z is an influential billionaire with a very recent, very high profile partnership with Tiffany. Is anyone here surprised?

I would be more surprised if a 'normal' person ends up with this watch.

Boomers thinking they have more taste than Jay Z is the most TRF thing ever dead

While we’re at it I have a bigger hog than Shaq, more money than Elon, I’m smarter than Stephen Hawking and better looking than Brad Pitt.
