Same with Grey market shops in Sydney Australia, and Incheon/Seoul South Korea. Prices there are out of control in those cities for sure !

Online the prices have come way down. Maybe these local shops attract people that don’t know the market value.

Totally agree. Online prices have been falling for months now but I see hardly any movement in high street dealers, even on their websites. I suspect these watches won’t be sold…

Also agree, prices have further come down in last couple of weeks, in particular for black friday sales. I saw a BLRO for GBP16.5k on watchfinder (there was nothing below 18 a few weeks ago adn now few options available in the market).

Makes me wonder how accounting practices work for jewelers. I’d guess, unless they are cash strapped, they can carry these inflated book values over to 2023 in hope of a market recovery.

been this way for a while now, and for those who get them at MSRP if anything happens to them the chances of getting a replacement are challenging, for those such as myself it takes some of the enjoyment out of owning and wearing them, but for others they love the resale.

I know at least two others personally who don't like wearing their sports watches anymore due to how impossible it is to get them.

Chrono24 has 15 of these for sale in the UK right now for £15k or less. These guys are dreaming (unless it suits them to have inflated prices for insurance purposes?).

Is this really the level that prices have risen to?
Well today Rolex watches have become little more than ££$$€€ object things sold to the highest bidder.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the Watch Out section?

What a retailer asks and what they will take is down to the buyer. If you don't ask you don't get. Some people will walk in on spec, haggle it down a bit, feel good about their negotiating skills and still pay 2X market mark up. The more of these the merrier. But that doesn't mean a more realistic offer won't be taken seriously.

Batman Full Set in mint condition going for 14-15k USD in Moda frequently,
just saw a Pepsi NEW 2022 on Jubilee there for around 17k USD, black 116500 mint full set for around 23-24k USD...

Finally prices are coming back to reality

Smoke screens lol. Just follow the supply and demand theory and you’ll find out where prices are headed to
