Congrats OP, if you like it then more power to you!

But sorry, it is far too big for you. Not my watch or my wrist, please take my honesty with a pinch of salt and enjoy your watch

Congratulations!

Not a watch we see so often.

Looks better in the flesh than in pictures in my opinion. Pictures don't usually do it justice.

Size-wise it's personal taste. My son loves watches that fit like thT, others prefer a smaller fit. It's all good!

Thanks everyone! The Yacht-master 2 is a real looker. Even I’m surprised by how much I love it. I really really really love it. I actually feel a little sad when I take it off for the day.

The YM2 wears smaller than its specified dimensions and the weight is well distributed. There’s no escaping its heft though, you’ll really feel it when it’s on your wrist.

I’d owned a grand Seiko sbgc221 that was 46.4mm, so even the YM2 is small in comparison.

Congratulations on your watch!

Don't listen to the naysayers about size - You are rocking it! Enjoy!

The complication on it is very desirable for a rolex person. Imo.

Yes, the sky dweller is an impressive mechanical watch. I’m unaware of any competing watch brand that integrates the bezel into the operation of the watch’s complication (YM2 & sky-d).

I’m still waiting for my AD to allocate one to me. And yes, the annual calendar complication is probably a lot more useful than the YM2’s 10-min countdown timer.

Among the laundry list of mundane daily activities that I’ve used the YM2’s timer for:

1) keeping track of the time I leave shampoo in my hair
2) timing how long it takes for the restaurant to serve my food
3) TV timeouts for the kids

With that being said, the YM2 is such a bold and fun to wear wristwatch.

Many congrats buddy! Wear with pride! It has great wrist presence. I almost always loved it, so finally took the plunge and bought last month. Sharing the pic…

Few points to mention:

1) The complication and caliber 4161 of this watch is outstanding, took 35000 hours of development, the only mechanical memory Chronograph in the world and bezel being a part of the programming mechanism is just exquisite

2) With such an outstanding movement it carries a very atypical design, hence can never be missed. The dial is so brilliantly white that you are gonna be asked by almost anyone which Rolex this is ..

3) can pass off equally well as a sporty or classy watch, serves all purpose.

Thank you! That is the best looking TT watch in the entire Rolex collection. Even your pet cat is mesmerised by it!

I’m in complete agreement about the versatility of the YM2 as a dress / casual watch.
