not sure if things are getting better or not. The AD did say that this was the only one they received this year. I passed on the black one they got earlier in the year.

My white daytona 116500LN story is the same as OP. With only one prior purchase,ladies DJ 31mm for the wife i put myself on the list. 8 months later i received the watch.This was 2021.I was shocked.I think the fact that im not a flipper made the difference.I was offered a couple of stainless steel models while i was waiting for the Daytona.I passed on them and told SA that i would wait for the one i wanted. That may have been a test to see if i would jump and buy everything offered to me.
