I’m still on the waiting list for the line. I’m hoping my AD calls me to let me know the line is ready to stand in. I’ve even given my choice of a couple of different lines I’m interested in, but no luck yet.

Don’t forget the space-dweller with a dial made with a moon rock given to Rolex by NASA…

I was just with the owner of WOS, he told me that Rolex have new priorities now.

1. Single mothers
2. People with an extra third nipple
3. Men who wear red trousers
4. If you own one of those fluffy white cats and post it on Facebook a lot

You heard it here first.

I spoke with my AD a few days ago because I was expecting a no date submariner at almost any second . I expressed at that time that if a “coke” was announced that I would want that as my first Rolex was a 1991 Coke . The committed to giving me the first one if it happens as they know it I’ll become my everyday watch .

I’m first in line with DSW. He’s happy to sell me any of tomorrow’s new releases at 3x MSRP.

My sense is that the folks who’re actually “at the top of the list” are the kind of folks who don’t ever have to concern themselves with anything so mundane as waiting lists.

This. And very few depend on the internet for any advice...or line locations.

In all seriousness, you are 100% correct. If you’re any degree of Vip at all your SA will text you tomorrow asking if you saw anything you wanted.

Better approach your AD now with your list of must haves and lay out your 5 year purchase plan.

Took it one step further. We layed out my 10 year purchase plan over a tin of gourmet cookies that I brought for the staff. I was also very careful what I wore into the AD since that’s a hot topic and made the customary small talk first. Then when I got home I mailed him a hand written thank you note. I think I’m in good shape to land all the hot new future releases.

Your sarcastic watch game is stronger than your actual one I bet.
