New prices (USD) effective now are posted on the "Historic Data" and "Annual Prices" tab at https://goo.gl/vWFC7Q. "Annual Prices" tab shows percentage change from previous price.

Feeling lucky I pulled the trigger on a Saxonia Thin last week avoiding the close to 20% price increase. This watch is incredible, pictures don’t do it justice.

I have noticed that Lange has accelerated a lot recently and is leveling with prices to the best. In December 2020, when I was buying my 234.032, it cost from 25,800EUR on the tag. In early 2021, they raised the price to EUR 26,500, and in March to EUR 27,900. At the moment, it is valued at EUR 29,700, so in a year and a half it went up by EUR 3,900, or 15% percent. Germany is able to count, because it is more or less the result of inflation from that period, which has recently accelerated significantly. In 2020, you could buy a new watch from AD with a 30% discount, now getting a 15% discount is quite a feat.

As always, thanks for the effort you put into this document. I have not seen its equal for any other brand. Cheers!

I was wondering the same thing. The prices look the same as before. I just checked the Saxonia Thin too since it was mentioned on here.

I'm sure it'll be a matter of a day or two. Saw JLC already jacked up their prices, was looking at the Polaris perpetual but not at a 10% increase almost immediately after it's release.

Some prices increased, some didn't. See my post earlier in the thread. 1815 Chrono and Saxonia Thin increased. All new prices posted on the spreadsheet.

The prices are updated now on the ALS website. My, how things have changed. The RG datograph is now $94.4k MSRP. My 2018 preowned was purchased grey for $62k. The Saxonia Thin Copper Blue I bought new at AD for $23.5k, it's now $26.4k.

Lange has some balls, for sure !
13% increase in 1815 chrono . Guess they are marching toward patek prices.

This isn't greed or Lange taking advantage of the market. Atleast in my humble opinion.

Roughly 13% cumulative inflation in the US since the start of Covid. I think Germany is a little less, but not by much. As with other things, cost gets passed on to consumers.

Is the increase US only? The price is the same for Europe at 55k euros.

Just spoke the NYC Lange boutique who confirmed the increases as of today.

Also of note - I inquired about the Lange 1 Moonphase (black dial) and there are zero in stock, the wait time was 8 months and requires a deposit.

ETA - I actually already own this piece. But wanted to temp check pieces other than Odysseus.

Much of the Lange offering is “price upon request” on the website now. Why?

i guess to cover up their price increases... THough they are great watches, I'm afraid I'll never be buying a Lange at this rate. I'll just stick to PP and AP.

I don’t understand this logic. AP and PP have also increased prices ~25% on most models over the past 4-5 years.

For the same complications at similar (or better in many cases) quality, Lange is still generally priced lower than AP and PP.

It’s a bit diff for a brand whose regular pieces trade at a discount to retail to aggressively raise that retail, versus brands like AP and PP who are effectively capturing more of their rightful market value by raising their retail

If that’s the case, then buy at discount from AD or buy at market price from a gray dealer.

Lange isn’t sitting on supply and inflation has raised their price of production. What the secondary market is doing is not how smart, long-term businesses determine price.

Agree, I think Lange has finally started to get noticed so it’s not discounted if much anymore. The AD have no stock so they aren’t really interested giving discounts anymore let alone get you a piece. 1815 Chrono increase is a lot but it was always underpriced for what it is. Same movement as a dato without the date. Best Chrono out there even at the new price. I have been tracking the secondary prices and the Lange deals are not really there anymore except for some pieces.

Are secondary market prices coming down in the current downturn? as 9 months ago these were pretty cheap compared to now.

Secondary market is soft for ALS except for a few select models like Odysseus, Dato and Lumens. Love it when you buy it. The secondary market for “dress” watches is very different than the sport watches regardless of brand.

I think you are a bit behind the times, virtually all Lange’s have seen strong growth, have you not seen the price rises in Lange 1, particularly the Darth. Langematik anniversary is also very strong.

Pick and choose. I agree. But overall a soft secondary market about to get softer. Very few of their pieces trade above retail.

And the potential increase in unwanted bundles will only make that worse.
