I mean, mistakes happen. I just can't see Rolex consciously offering a choice of that incorrect dial.

RSC doesn’t have dials on hand? I thought in Europe they close down for the summer.

Rolex has offered to replace the dial at their expense, but it has to go back to the headquarters in Geneva and the whole dial replacement process could take several months. Oh well, I guess I'll have to 'wait for the call' to get my own watch back.

Received watch from RSC - should I return it or am I too picky?

OK. Now I am really confused. I thought it was the certification process, not the movement that earned the 4 liner dial.

Can someone please clear this up?

Surprised they didn't just offer to relume the tarnished marker. Seems like that would be a quick and easy fix and would keep the originality of the watch in tact. A new dial is not a bad outcome though....so long as it exactly matches the original.
