This might be controversial to say but I believe many like the Cermit more than the Bluesy because of "flex" culture. I would pick the bluesy as I don't like the black dial with the green bezel. But if the hulk got reintroduced, it would be a different story.

Blue is a bit more photogenic. I loved it… until I tried it on. Just not for me. LV on other hand, is absolute perfection.

Between the two, I would select the LV. That said, while I like both of them, I probably would not personally buy either for myself.

Voted Bluesy because it is my favourite watch. Besides mentioned, the Bluesy is iconic.

TT Submariner for me. If you had a deep collection the next might be the green bezel submariner. If this was a choice between the Hulk and the TT then I might go Hulk.

As always, the Q is "was the base watch originally a SS sports model". If it is a yes, it is a SS model for me 10/10.

Only up until about a year ago, the TT watches were literally being given away. It was what you got if you wanted, but couldn't get offered, a SS model.

Not only that, but Rolex's YG is loud and obnoxious.

It is Kermit 10 times out of 10 for me.

Agree, I got TT same day or weeks, even now.

Bluesy or Cermit?

Been offered the blusey multiple times and have turned it down. I wear the Starbucks as my daily beater. I don’t think I would want to with a 2 tone high polished center link. That being said I have a large collection and I have solid gold pieces so 2 tone for my personal collection wouldn’t fit in. If I was to get a 2 tone I would get the root beer. It’s a little more subtle IMO.

I prefer the Bluesy. My reason is the Cermit is a black Sub, and I've got a bit of black diver fatigue. Yes, the touch of green is nice, but not enough to sway me. I personally found the Bluesy stunning at the AD, the Cermit was just OK. I can understand TT is not for everyone, but to me it's the prettiest Sub by far.

I had the LV and it just didn't sing to me. If I could do it over, I would have gotten the LB.

Thanks Jonathan. No bad choice whatever you go for. Try them on if you can and let them speak to you. Good luck!

I'd personally choose the Cermit I have a black sub 41 (no date), and the Cermit. I think the only other Sub I would choose over the LV (in new references) would be the WG blue bezel. I LOVE it. Reality is though, right or wrong, I wear all of my watches without a ton of regard for scratching etc... I think if were to own the WG, I wouldn't wear it as much b/c I would be overly concerned about it.
