Absolutely do it. The Daytona is next level for so many reasons. There are a lot of Daytona haters lately because it is the “tip of the Rolex spear” but there is a “X factor” to the Daytona that even myself was surprised to find is very noticeable over other spectacular Rolex models.

Price wise it makes sense, so sure.

I forgot how strong the pound still is compared to the euro.

Will put up some pics when I collect in the next couple of days - I’m going on holiday Wednesday so I plan to have it before then to take with me :)

Excited !

Just landed

Painfully tight but I’m wearing it anyway ha.

I’m so happy with my decision thanks again for the input everyone.

I was supposed to pick this watch up at ten am, the dealer was tied up and I was adamant I wanted it today I am hellbent when I have my mind set to something.

So after much harassment and pleading he hand delivered it to my door at ten pm tonight.

The dial is so good in person that outter red ring on the outside of the dial really adds a dimension to the watch, will take more photos tomorrow!

I would trade the DD for that Daytona on a heartbeat. As many know on here, the Daytona has been my favorite Rolex for +30 years.
