A friend just inquired at the MAD Gallery for the LM101 and was told that it is closed for ordering since there is a total of 600 orders in the waitlist. How long would it take to fill this list given MB&F only makes about 250-300 pieces per year? And 35 per year is already going to sequential. I guess the only way to get a MB&F (or for any brands) is to order as soon as it is announced. (Or years before it is announced as in the case of the RRCC2) |

Good question, and if i were a betting man... Max will honor those who have waited and waited yet... will be offered to move to the next 'version' while keeping their same 'place in line'.
And yes, the RRCC2 and others have far more demand than supply. Overall, it's a glorious time to love horology. So many more 'exciting happenings' than a decade or so ago imho. And yeah, ok, sure it's not limited or 'ultra,' yet i marvel at the Bvlgari Octo FS with Gen 1 movement. An astonishing achievement and 100m WP too! :)

I don’t know but I assume if you are on the MAD Gallery’s list, MB&F should know. But if it is from AD, it is probably a conversation between you and the AD? It is probably harder for AD as they probably don’t know how many allocations per year they will get 2-3 years from now. BTW, why a second job? |

I was always concerned with the 44mm case size but I just tried on a LMX a few days ago. The size is actually very wearable due to the lug design. I would say it wears more like a 42mm than a true 44. |

I am glad to hear your experience which give me a peaceful mind because 44mm in spec. is pretty intimidating for my wrist.

I just noticed you ordered the Orange from the Taipei MAD Gallery so it seems like my friend beat you by a couple of days. He also ordered an orange one and was told end of 2022 delivery as it was the first one to come into the Taiwan store. One black and one orange are coming for this year but the black was sold when he put down the deposit.

I have an 18cm wrist with 55mm wrist span and it wears perfectly. My wife even commented that the LM101 looks small on me now after she saw the LMX. Bear in mind that the LMX dome is more pronounced than a LM101.

That’s probably why it is a 2023 delivery then. I also ordered through my AD in Europe and I was probably the first order at this store. And I also got a 2023 delivery date for the orange one. It is understandable that the MAD gallery probably get an edge in allocation. |

Stopped by the Mad Gallery this morning to pick up something. They happened to have this there. It was unexpectedly comfortable. And clever better looking in the flesh. Anyone who has ordered one, made a great decision.

I love it. This is very amazing. The only problem which I have with this that I can not buy anything from MB&F because there is 0 stores in my area that carry this amazing brand.

Michael, call Watches Of Switzerland / Mayors as they offer MB&F. Or just directly email MB&F from their website.

I know that option, but I would like to see any of those watches that they are offering before buying. My problem is that I live in north central Wisconsin area and nothing is around so I have to plan special trip to see a watch.

Most watches I buy this day are all bought sight-unseen. For almost all brands, the AD is empty. And for new releases, especially independents, unless you have very close relationship with the brand and is willing to travel, you probably will never see it until it is too late to order.

About three years ago, during a visit to Watches Of Switzerland at Wynn in Vegas, the salesperson brought out a couple MB&F timepieces. Wrist shots below, but lemme tell you I really looked it over VERY carefully and analyzing / visualizing the mechanism. After some time I thanked the sales associate as this would be more of a long-term goal. But see, over the following months I could not get the incredible craftsmanship, engineering, and quality outta my head. FYI, I started collecting Pateks in the 1990s if that gives you a bit of a reference. Long story short, 'sight unseen' ordered a LM101 Willy Wonka and have a March 2023 date. So yes, make the effort to see one and if it resonates with you If you love Vegas, and hey who doesn't, call WoS Wynn and see what's possible. Plus you'll be in Vegas 181367350_2142381919231511_2065557889308811239_n.jpg 180908497_2142382005898169_6682868550139539107_n.jpg
