Got my SS Blue dial after waiting 14 months. I received in 2020. I was offered the white and black dial as alternatives as the wait for blue was longer than my AD expected. I think the wait will depend on which version you are looking for… SS, PM, dial color, if SS Jubilee or Oyster.

First time buyer, Blue dial SS on Oyster, picked up in April 2021 after 18 months as an engagement gift.
Reading through similar posts, I think I got lucky.

As others have pointed out.... No two people will get treated equally. I got mine in 3weeks but that's not because I am a VIP more that I was right place at the right time. I got mine in 2019 before 'everything' Rolex went crazy and I was the only one on the waitlist for SkyD. I asked for a blue or a black dial, AD said it would take around 2yrs for Blue and 1yr for black. I got the call only 3weeks later. These were still the days when AD's had no idea what Rolex would give them for stock in the coming year.

Sky Dweller Wait— how long?

My SA offered me SS black jubilee early May. It was never on my radar because I thought it would be too large for my 6.5 inch wrist, but I bought it and happy that I did. It’s much nicer in person than I expected.

Thanks, everyone, for all the awesome responses! I got put on a list for a SS blue back in march, along with a 126610lv.. got the lv a few weeks ago and love it! Looks like I’m gonna have to wait a while to get the sky, which is one of my grails…
