Best wishes I don’t have an answer for your question, but if it brings you happiness just strap that baby straight in when you get home.

Good luck.

As others have said, I'm sure the radiation levels involved will not cause any issue for a mechanical watch. After all, radium was used on dials for quite some time.

But ultimately that's all insignificant compared to what both you, Wayne, and Wcdhtwn are going through, so I wish you both a full and swift recovery.

A watch is not biological, I'm thinking no harm. But I'm not sure about this. Does anyone know the answer?

Of course that may be more due to potential interference with the treatment than damaging something, and probably being way over cautious.
Praying for you for a speedy recovery.

Good luck with your treatments, kick the cancer's ass.

Good luck sir. I don’t know you, but you are in my prayers.
Radium couldn’t hurt the mechanical movements and it was inside the case.

Wishing you a quick recover to good health. Wear the watch if it brings you joy and do not worry about it. When you get to the other side of better health, the watch can be a reminder of your journey.

I am not sure about the watch. As a heath care professional I hope you can stay positive throughout this difficult time and I wish you all the best. Stay strong. Today I will certainly not take my health for granted and I thank you for that.

there's all different kinds of radiation, magnetism is a form of radiation, same with sunlight. Those can both have adverse effects on your watch.
the type of radiation you're talking about should be fine.
God speed, kick cancer's butt!

Follow the treatment and you will have years of enjoyment. You are in good hands. Don't worry about the radiation to your watch. If something happens then send it for service. Positive thoughts!!!

Please take care of yourself, Wayne, and think positive thoughts. I know the watch will be fine, and I hope you'll be around a long time to enjoy it and everything else as well.
