They’re the worst. I’ve bought a few watches from them but the SA I’ve been dealing with told me numerous times to buy more jewelry to get any Rolex model. Aside from the politics and shady business practice, they treat me like trash anytime I’m in their showroom. No one says hi or even acknowledges me. They obviously cater to a specific demographic (aka white folks with money). I’ve never been in a place where I immediately feel out of place as soon as I walk in.

With that being said, I’ve stopped going there and have been going to Govberg instead lol.

100% agree. The best thing WOS could have done would be to FIRE EVERYONE and start over. You cant wrap garbage in Fendi wrapping paper and expect the smell to just disappear.

100% facts! They don’t even know how to size a bracelet properly. I picked up a watch last year (not Rolex) and the guy took an hour to size my bracelet. At the moment, i thought it was a really intricate process since it’s a newer Tudor model. I go home later that night to re-size it (it was way too tight) and it literally took my 2 minutes with my Walmart watch tools.

I agree, they should’ve cleaned house and hired new sales associates because their current staff is garbage.

The Promenade is no slouch, on the contrary my first ever rolex was from BR in Marlton in 2008 and I have some great memories and always go to Marlton, it's a great area. My comment was more regarding WoS wanting to go there instead of main line PA or in the city. For all I know, they tried unsuccessfully to get benari or govberg and picked up BR Marlton.

But my comment was not an indictment on Marlton at all. I'm from the area originally and it always makes me feel at home coming back to go to Jay Robert's. I haven't stepped into BR Marlton since getting my 14060M in 08, but I do a decent business with their PA store. And have gotten mostly everything rolex wise I've wanted except a Pepsi.

BR is purely a pay to play operation. If you want a Submariner, it'll cost you 3-4k in jewelery. I have it on personal authority that you need to pay grey market price for a new rolex from BR, just in the form of jewelery or non rolex, non tudor watch. For example, if you want a Sub date and the current grey FMV is 14k. Then you buy the sub at 10k + 4k of jewelery. Offer that next time you walk in and you'll have a sub by end of the week.

Honestly I think most jewelry stores operate that way. Interesting comment about Tudor not counting against the purchase requirement.
