Wow came super fast. I get the gripes of the crown....and my wrist is always between sizes for some reason, needed a half link for 5711 and 15202, even with these smaller links I'm slightly between for the perfect fit. Looks amazing otherwise. The dial pattern so small makes my photo downsizing go crazy.

It would be interesting to see it next to the Czapek Antartique Salmon dial

Congrats on a really special piece! I've found that I'm able to wear this bracelet more snug than other bracelets without it feeling tight.

It does look beautiful. Such a shame to see the PF range not flying off the shelves in general. Maybe this one will change all that......

My understanding is in the US at least they are sold out and ADs have waitlists. Where did you see them on the shelves?

I get it, there's some mall watch vibes but the feel is great. I know everyone raves about the nautilus but I think the bracelet is not great on my 5711, with the 15202 annihilating the nautilus.

This one sold out, I'll admit. There are, however, several Tondas on Chrono 24 at below RRP. ADs now are being told they have to have a definite order with a deposit before being allocated a watch - a bit like the new ALS marketing model and this essentially means there are none on the shelves but doesn't mean they are necessarily selling well. At Sotherby's, a PF Chrono went for a steal last week and Phillips right now has a PF Chrono at a bargain price. My grey tells me he's reluctant to take any PFs because they are difficult to move. I suspect times are changing and the sooner the better for me - this brand needs to gain the respect it deserves.

I dunno if 20% off for a PF Chrono is considered a steal? Yea no dealers going to be taking parms on trade, they have notoriously bad resale, so the 20% for the chrono is positive movement IMHO. With the watch market getting hammered doubt many dealers are taking in inventory unless they know they can move it quick. The one I'm more curious was the logical one going for 100k...

Are you referring to the latest Tonda releases under Terreni or the prior models/references? Because the older Tonda stuff can definitely be had and is littered all over chrono24. But I know as recently as last month (when I last had the conversation with a PF dealer) that the Tonda PF micro rotor is sold out until 2023. Didn't specifically ask about the chrono or annual (within the latest release).

The case/bracelet are a match to the movement quality when you hold it in person.

Definitely not ugly, but will wait it until prices drop in the secondary market.

I think you are going to wait along time to see the Tonda PF drop. They only make a few hundred each year, so may take a few years before they go below retail.

And apparently that wasn't even the original pattern. They challenged the CNC guy to make it as small as possible and his result looked amazing - until you put it under the crystal, then you couldn't even see it. So this result was scaled up from there. I had never heard of a dial detail being obscured by the crystal so that was interesting.

Anyway, congrats, it looks quite nice! I also really like the rattrapante "GMT", the rose gold home hand is gorgeous.
