Minty fresh incoming

My wife surprised me with this DJ41 today for my bday. I’d been asking around at a couple different ADs for this piece myself since announcement, figuring it’s a DJ and therefore I wouldn’t get rebuffed because it’s not one of the usual hot pieces, maybe. But I was striking out. So this one really came out of left field.

Mint green is an accurate description of the dial, which does change shades based on lighting. When I was calling around, I wanted a smooth bezel with oyster bracelet, but I was open to a smooth bezel with jubilee, which someone else here had posted a picture before. It seems that it is a hit or miss chance of the AD being willing or able to order an oyster bracelet too, but she didn’t think to ask, and I think I’m liking this particular combo. I know most others here insist on fluted bezel and jubilee, but I have a different piece with that configuration. It’s all a matter of taste.
