When I went to Vegas last month I wore my GV. I went to : Torneau, Roman Times, and the Rolex store in the Wynn and none of the stores had a GV nor did I see anyone else wearing one. So what I am saying is wear the DJ. BTW that is a very striking DJ. Have fun and GOOD LUCK!!!

I honestly was going to let this poll decide for me, cuz either one was ok for me, I just had a hard time deciding.

Sorry to have offended anyone.

You did not offend anyone. I see the purpose of these forums to communicate with each other and have fun! I see no problem in wanting input in deciding which watch you want to take on vacation, especially when you love them both!

So, please let us know which watch you decide to take? And have a blast in Las Vegas! Don't forget to take pictures and post ALL pictures!

Hi Ricky,

IMO the DJ (at 36mm) and the Submariner might be a little underwhelming for Las Vegas.

Can you borrow a YG DayDate II with full diamonds for the weekend?

Eddie.

Thomas, if you don't want to join in - go elsewhere.

Why not poll MY suggestion and accept the verdict.

LOL, wouldn't be worth it to pay for the insurance on that sucker for just a weekend.

Thanks a lot people. You guys are awesome! A few hours left, and I already think I know what I'm going to take. But I love to hear your opinions. Thanks again.!

HAHAA, I'm still sitting at work. Finishing up work that I was unable to do while I was on the forum. I'll probably leave for vegas at 8pm or so. I will try to pass by the Rolex store there and take some snapshots. Though I never get around getting in there.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I'm on the way to Vegas right now. I took the DJ since the poll did favor the DJ. I was so excited that I forgot to take a camera with me. But my cousin has one so I'll try to snap as much as I can with a camera with no charger.

well, the DJ for gambling style, but: the problem is on the weekends the crowds are so thick with drunks you'll have to beat em with the watch to make room for yourself to walk on the sidewalk...maybe the sub date after all?

Well, sorry that it took so long for me to finally respond, I've been busy with work and doing some extra OT to fund a watch and also my loss from Vegas. Vegas was a blast. I came back a loser though. So no Rolex yet. I didn't do much. The funnest thing me and my cousins did was probably Pole Position racing. Which is indoor go kart racing. I totally forgot my camera since I was in a rush after work so I didn't get to take any pictures. I played PaiGow Poker and drank at the same time for about 8 hours and lost 5 bucks. So even though it is a lost, it isn't too bad of a lost. I bought 3 coach items: one for me (belt), pops (wallet), ma (wallet). No worries though, I will be heading there again next week for my cousins bday and this time I will definitely take more pictures. Since we are going to a lake out in Laughlin first then to Vegas. It might be time for me to take the Sub this time.

I'd like to thank everyone for helping me decide. I was happy to hear your opinions. I do apologize again with no pix, but I promise some pix next time. Hopefully after a few trips I'll be able to show you guys a TT GMT II-C on my wrist
