I think it just comes down to what else is in the collection...and what niche the watch will fill in it. Couple of knocks on the 519: legibility is not great, and of course, the Daytona is only OF WITHOUT the mini-glide lock. A true testament to the philosophy of 'why try' if the product is already a good seller?
But, to be sure, both are fantastic watches. If the knock on the 500 is it's "boring," well...I think, at my most positive, I would say that's subjective. |
