This is the poorest excuse for a hijacking that I think I have seen here. As the masters (Allan, Frans, Adrian) have indicated, hijacking is a sophisticated, refined, and very complex art. It is not something that should be tried by amateurs. And it should never be done at home except under the careful and continued supervision of an expert.
If you look around, you will find excellent examples of masterful hijackings on TRF. This is clearly not one of them.

But don't say never. Just keep watching and learning from the masters. And take baby steps. On occasion, stick your toe in the water and try a hijack. Pretty soon you'll get the hang of it. The main thing to remember is that you cannot start a hijack thread. A hijack has to come in the middle of a thread. Although there have been some extreme examples of a hijack that started with the second post. But this can only be done by a sensai black belt hijack master of the 32nd degree. It is something to which every novice hijacker can aspire.

I think we need a bit of a recap on what this thread is about, well it's about going off topic. Therefore the real masters of the hijack have refrained from doing this and as such have deftly hijacked the thread. We did leave several clues throughout but to no avail. Oh well back to the telly.

Well the cricket was on but that's got nothing to do with hijacking so I won't go there.

Multi-layered hijacks, if performed by non-professional hijackers and screwed up royally, can be dangerous to their health. One of the professionals may come in and kick them to the curb, or worse!
