Not sure if I should show where it happens. I am known to be kind of messy.

Hmpf - I could post a picture of my dining room table with my laptop, but as of now the space is overwhelmed by hubby's enormous LCD monitor (which is taking up residence for a few days while he does something with some estimating software.

It's not pretty!

We have a little alcove off the hall next to the kitchen. It has double doors, and inside is a side by side washer and dryer, with cabinets underneath.

If you are lucky, you have a basement or laundry room.

Ours is in the basement, Jim. Our first house had them in the kitchen, behind bi-fold doors. Our Tulsa house had an area in the garage - not so handy there, but we did okay. Our San Antonio house had a little room next to the kitchen that doubled as the pantry. So really, a kitchen location isn't that unusual here, either!

Our primary residence has them in the basement. Our Florida place has them stacked in a closet in the kitchen. Our New York place has them in the basement, where they get used by about 60 other owners in the building.

I don't think you should get flamed. I think many of us have wives.

Would I venture too far away from within the straight white lines if I asked what the topic is? I don't think it is about, well, let's say something crazy, washing machines. Or drippies, droopies and floopies. It is it too much to ask to, for once, adhere to the topic at hand?
