I know a lot of people never really cared for the previous version of the modern AK, but I always like it! When this 2nd version was released, I LOVE it! The small detail changes like the "05" and the crown guards really makes a huge difference imo. I am hoping to get one of these myself!

Just picked up mine and love it! As the OP said, it’s less blingy, etc. and I really like the quirky dial. A tidbit I’d never heard or read about is that, according to the AD, the Air-King text is in Hans Wilsdorf’s handwriting. Don’t know if that’s true or not, but I like the font.

You have to see the AK in person, to appreciate it. It’s like no other model in the Rolex line.

they just changed the 05 and replace the old case with the explorer 2 case. it's a simple job but I admit it looks much better than the old air king.

It’s a watch that one has to try on, and see in person to appreciate it.

Are the retailers asking MSRP or marking it up?

I think the look of the new Air King is excellent, and there has never been any hype on the cool piece, and those that have it seem to be enjoying it, time to get to in the club.

Hi fellow forum members,
Had some 'weird' interactions with a few ADs. I visited 4 ADs because I am interested in the 126900. The majority of them (3) told me they do not receive this watch, they have never received it and never held it in their hands. Only one AD (who was quite nice actually) told me that they receive only 2 AKs per year and they have a huge waiting list, funnily enough he offered me a sky-dweller or a daytona (both gold) which I would not expect to be sold so easily.
Do the above sound normal to you?
Thanks!

Nothing is normal when discussing how Rolex does business. I requested November 2nd. Was told not to expect until 2024. Got call December 13th. Who knows?
