Indeed it feels recently Rolex and their AD network are able to even push popular watches like the Submariner to customers soon.

Minutes after I left the store. Did traded in a non Rolex watch at the AD so that most likely helped. But still the watches are out there and ready for people to collect.
When I was waiting for my SA to bring out the watch, there was a Rolex rep in the store and he told Rolex is really pushing the AD’s to start selling watches to first time buyers. It’s a win for the store as they have a repeat customer and it gets them into the brand. Now wether some dealers are following the practice remains to be seen ha. I had no previous history at my AD and they never told me that I had to buy something else to get a SS. They just assured me they would take care me and they did.
