Feeling the love, conflicted and rebellious…

I’ve owned my Submariner 124060 for 2 years now. When I first got it, I was worried about how I’d feel at the first scratch… and to my surprise, it did not affect me!!

I wear it while working, traveling, jumping in the ocean, cleaning my Tesla and also, while digging up my backyard. It’s gotten scratches all over, and I LOVE HOW IT LOOKS NOW! I’m in love with my Sub.

I’m embarking on a 6-week long trip visiting Seville, Granada and Barcelona in Spain and Rome/Florence in Italy and Mumbai in India. I’ve heard the horror stories about robberies and tons of reasons not to wear it there. I’m not worried about Mumbai, However, not sure about Europe.

The thing is, I CANNOT live without my watch on my wrist. .So… I am going to take it. I am going to wear it in most cities except Barcelona and Rome. I’ll leave it either in my shoulder bag (which I need to carry for my camera anyways) or leave it in the safe in the hotel.

Do you guys think is it too much of a risk or is my thinking/situational awareness foresight enough? Love to hear your thoughts!
