Everything is hand painted and it's a one of a kind museum piece.

They even offer personalized factory tours and you can take a variety of master classes with them where you can spend a large part of the day working with their clock makers or watchmakers to learn about different aspects of design and production. One of the classes focuses on movement assembly, another focuses on the actual producing of the intricate dials and hands, another class lets you spend the day with the Atmos Clock team. I mean who else is doing this? Certainly not Rolex.

JLC is literally inviting us to come visit them at the mother ship and then make a once in a lifetime experience out of it by witnessing the fascinating things they are doing first hand. I love JLC.
Ironically I've always loved the atmosphere too. Nearly bought one when I was in Singapore.

I walked into an AD convinced I was going to buy a Reverso. Specifically the small seconds classic. I think it’s about 43mm lug to lug. I thought it would be the perfect watch to go with my Submariner and Speedmaster.

Quite frankly, I was disappointed with it. It did not meet my expectations. I just felt it wasn’t worth the price (even if I got a huge discount for it).

I actually ended up buying another diver that day instead (Omega Seamaster). So ironically, I woke up that day thinking I was getting a dress watch but ended up with a second diver instead. No regrets. I also decided that a DJ41 is what I really want for a dressier style watch, and eventually got one of those too.

With all that said, there are lots of different styles of the Reverso. You might like one of them, but I decided to go in a different direction.

Yeah, it comes with a blue strap, which I didn’t like — the blue on blue sort of made it even more formal and (to me) made the sunburst dial less special. So I put it on a brown strap. I also have the JLC canvas ones (black and brown) and a grey strap too.

My wrist is a flat 7.25." I have owned both the medium and large Reverso. I preferred and kept the medium to go with my Sub and GMT.

I own the BLNR oyster and grand reverso ultra thin duo face

I have small wrists, more suited to non maxi case Rolex watches, the BLNR is on my upper end for what size I like.

My reverso is smaller, but it’s a totally different case shape. Love how thin it is and it is very comfortable. I would say if the BLNR is small for you though, the reverso would be very small, if the BLNR fits well, the reverso will be slightly small, and if the BLNR is a little big, the reverso will be perfect.

I have all 3, and they're all so different.
My starbucks is sportier but can easily be dressed up.
The batgirl is quite noticable and tends to be a bit dressier
The reverso is an absolute wild card. I was afraid it would be too dressy, but it's sporty, dressy, comfortable, AND subtle. It might be my favorite in my collection

I don't own one, but I wouldn't hesitate to do so if I liked the watch.

Matter of fact, while watch browsing in D.C. a few weeks ago, I tried on a couple of JLC, a Reverso and a Master Control. Now, I was drawn more aesthetically to the MC, but the Reverso was really nice, too.

If you're thinking JLC and feel like the Reverso is too diminutive, take a look at some of their offerings. I tell you what, up close and in the flesh, they are fantastic watches.

Reversos come in many sizes so you may want to check which one looks right on your wrist. I have a 7.5"/19 cm wrist and here are a couple pics wearing a submariner (black and blue are 41 mm, Hulk is 40 mm). I also have a Reverso (largest size I think). The dimensions of the reverso are 49.4 x 29.9 mm. One thing I found to be true of the Reverso is if you have a duoface and one side is light and the other dark, visually the watch can look slightly differently sized based on which side you are displaying.
