I think it is the intersection of:
1) The watch that you always wanted when younger, but was out of your price range. and 2) The last watch you would want to sell. For me, four Day-Date models from the 1803 to he 228238 now. |

Not obtainable. If you can obtain it, it is not a grail. It also gives a false impression that there is one watch out there that would satisfy you, which of course is not the case for most people.

[QUOTE=mario1971;12491545]Grail is a watch that you have always liked, planned to buy and finally bought it. It's the one you've been wearing for many years and still enjoys it. You buy other watches, often better, more expensive and more beautiful, but most often you come back to it anyway. My grail has always been the 116710BLNR, I bought it 4 years ago. In the meantime, it passed through my hands from 10 different Rolex, JLC, Grand Seiko, three Omegas, Lange, Seiko, Certina. Some of these watches have found new owners, and my Grail - Batman makes me as happy as on the day of purchase, and maybe even more. He is timeless, reliable, punctual, good for every occasion and every outfit.
This is the Grail! Perfect definition! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
