Congrats Mike! Gorgeous DJ. I too am waiting for the call for my first DJ41. Got a call two weeks ago for a green dial 36mm but I’m really set on the 41. Wear in good health!

Been on the list for almost 2 years and finally got the call from my AD, it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I went in thinking I was getting a Datejust 41 with smooth bezel, but I've always told myself it had to be fluted and wasn't sure i would be walking out with one today to be honest. As i got to my AD and she brought me back to side room to show me the piece and then proceeded to let me know that she had another choice which she hasn't been able to say in years! So she walks out and comes back to show me a Fluted bezel blue face with romans and i immediately busted into the biggest smile possible. I indeed did walk out with the watch and went back to work for the last few hours with a very evident grin haha. Anyways this was a huge day for me and they made the experience everything I was hoping it would be and more! I look forward to browsing and ejoying the forums!

Congratulations !!!

I am looking at these same watches, and am leaning to the Azzurro Blue Dial.

Is that second watch the “Bright Blue” Dial ?

I have not been able to see them side by side … what did you think of the dials ?

I’m with you, I will want the Fluted Bezel … I just keep going back and forth a bit on the dial, Azzurro Blue vs. Bright Blue.

Thank you, they are the same watch! Just the way the light hits the face make sit look darker at different angles. It's the Azzuro Blue, i couldn't be happier with the decision to go with that blue. I wasn't sure of the romans when I first was really deciding a few years ago but after seeing it on I am more than happy i made the choice yesterday to go with romans! Good luck and hope this helps

Congrats mate, it is a stunning watch for sure.

I have the same dial (but in smooth bezel), the dial is incredible and you will get to enjoy the many variations of blue in different lights. Simply amazing.

Enjoy in good health.
