I may keep the omega. I got a 15% discount on it back in 2020 so wouldn’t really loose much on the resale but won’t really add much to the fund.

I would get rid of the explorer and SMP. With your other watches, I would find it nearly impossible to ever reach for those in the rotation, and if I were to do so, I would always be wishing I had either sub or BLRO on my wrist.
After doing that, I would either fund a precious metal, or wait for the Daytona you seem to be in queue for. |

Try to see if oyster flex works for you first.
I personally wouldn’t sell a watch to buy a watch. Your AD may frown on that - if you have to sell a watch to afford the next purchase, it doesn’t look great for future spend potential. The Oysterflex Daytona is my favourite. And with your history a realistic piece to obtain. I have not seen ADs preferentially allocate SS Daytonas to those without a PM purchase or other significant history however. So you may wait a while for the SS or wait for grey prices to come down. The sub is such a quintessential daily I would keep at least one. Omega and explorer don’t do it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To my mind the top roll has 3 great daily watches in it. I personally think that whatever you do, you need to keep one of them so you can make it your beater. Get an OF Daytona as this may arrive quicker than stainless and then pick up the stainless one if it materialises. You can then be in the enviable position of deciding what Daytona to keep (the answer is both, of course).

Great collection! Personally I’d keep
- Sub - Pepsi - OP Sell the rest and use funds towards the WG Daytona with blue dial. That way you have a great yet focused mix of complications, colours, and bracelets.

Keep the Sub and sell the other 2 on the top row and add Daytona and Day-Date.

I would move the SMP and try to add the OF Daytona.
I feel like you might regret selling any of those Rolexes. They are all great imo

I wouldn't do either option. If you're worried about overlap, I'd sell the Starbucks Sub and Explorer. The Explorer and OP are essentially the same watch, with the OP having a better dial. The Starbucks looks like the lovechild of the Sub and OP. The SMP, you might as well keep it. You're not going to net any money that will make it worth your time. Plus, it's different enough to stand on its own in your collection.
I've owned both a 5 digit Sub and Explorer at the same time. I moved the Explorer and haven't regretted it. You have a particular design language you prefer; It's obvious by your collection. I'd ask yourself WHY you want the Daytona. It's design is totally outside the wheelhouse. |

I prefer the explorer to the OP but since you said the OP cannot be sold... I guess the explorer can go. I dont think you will miss the seamaster, explorer, or sub.
I would not get the OF daytona... just wait for the SS daytona.

Good discussion because this is a good collection!
For me, I'd move the Explorer on and then, if you have to, the SMP (it's easy to reacquire if you really miss it). I'm not a fan of green bezels, but if you like & wear it I'd definitely keep it. (From other posters on TRF it has "seller's remorse" written all over it). The call between a PM OF Daytona and a SS Daytona is a tough one if you can only have one of them. In any event, I'd probably wait until April to see if/what Rolex does anything interesting for the Daytona 60th anniversary. You may have another option to consider.

I’d move the LV and explorer for the OF Daytona.
Keep the black sub, it’s just so versatile and awesome (I need one). SMP is awesome color I’m the collection and you won’t get hardly anything for it so a definite keeper (remember this is Rolex forum so many only want Rolex here…). Capitalize on the Kermit hype while it still exists to get most money for fewest watches / investment. Those 2 should put you close to OF Daytona at retail… |

Great collection for a relatively short time considering the market in the past few years.
A Daytona would definitely be a great addition to your collection. Personally, the Explorer doesn’t do much for me so I would sell it and have the cash available towards the Daytona. Not sure how you feel about the Polar dial Explorer 2, but that would be a nice addition as well. Good luck and enjoy the journey. |

Selling the top row is the one I would go for. Now, what you get (OF vs SS Daytona) is up to you. If you go OF, it is unique in the Rolex Catalog, is PM, sits higher and wears bigger than SS. OF Daytona is one of my favorite watches. SS, will always be popular, hold value really well esp if it is the White dial but wears smaller, is not as unique as the OF. OF is the true Panda. Look forward to seeing your choice.

I like your collection. And personally wouldn't want to add a daytona.
But if I did, I would get ride of blue and one green.

Option 1 but consider any Pm piece. Oyster flex is cool just hoping you get
Yellow or rose gold to add some pop in the collection |
