I cannot think of a more aesthetically pleasing or perfectly proportioned watch than the Daytona from 1988 16520 onwards

I’d never considered the need for a new movement for a bigger Daytona before but it would absolutely need one to keep the symmetry of the subdials. This alone is enough to make a larger one unlikely. The 4130 is still one of Rolex’s finest moments 22 years later, +/- 2 second accuracy and 70 hour reserve, thin and reliable. Again little reason to change, I love the Daytona just as it is.
