I am wearing mine as I am reading this and have no issues with the GMT. It does feel different than my Sub, not quite as comfortable, but still a very wearable watch.

The Tudor BB GMT is the most infuriating watch I have ever owned

I owned one on the nato and thought it was fantastic. Bought the bracelet and that actually was much less comfortable / wearable. Made the whole thing feel clunky..

The extra thickness and flat case sides are my least favorite thing about Tudor compared to Rolex. Its a weird thing to say but the curved case side with no crown is one of my favorite parts of a Rolex, its a small detail but it makes a big difference

I tried the BBGMT and liked it but just a bit big for me. I tried the BBPro and bought it.

This watch is always on my short list of watches I want, but there always seems to be other watches higher up on the list.

I had the same issue. I loved the look of the watch, but I could never get a good fit. I tried adding/removing links on different sides, played with the micro adjustments, and even ordered an UncleSeiko half link. I could never get it quite right. I eventually put it on a Pelagos rubber strap (thanks to an old thread I found on here). I enjoyed it like that for a little while, but ultimately sold it to get back into a 16570 Exp II.

Yes, indeed - I’d recommend giving the BB Pro a shot. I’d love to see the GMT line expanded using the pro’s dimensions.

But it is such a beautiful watch I wanted to give it another try, so I purchased it again and have been wearing it on a Forstner jubilee. Its much more comfy than the OEM, but I still find it a bit uncomfortable.

This is infuriating as from a pure aesthetic standpoint this is probably the favorite watch I own (along with my 62MAS influenced Seiko SLA043). I love the red/blue on the aluminum bezel, it's perfect and the colors just pop in the right way everywhere on the watch - bezel, dial, indicies, etc.

Seeing the way Tudor is going, I think it's a near certainty the GMT line moves to a 39mm case, maybe as soon as this year. But my hunch is initially they won't offer that with a Pepsi bezel. And that still won't solve the thickness issue as seen with the BB Pro.
I owned it in 2019, it never fit correctly because it was too thick and top heavy, even on the bracelet. I noticed in almost every pic others posted, it leaned to one side of the wrist, unless sized too tight.

Then the date wheel malfunctioned and I was done with it.

Don't get me started on the fake rivets....

So you bought a watch that didn’t fit you and one that you didn’t like how it looked?

Hmmm

In all fairness, the size and weight of the watch isn't that noticeable until you've spent some time with the watch, hard to tell by just trying it on 10-15 seconds at a dealer.

Also in 2019, it didn't hurt that it was still hard to get and trading slightly above it's retail, making the decision to buy easier.

No, I bought it because I liked everything about it's looks except the rivets. And I'd never heard of a watch that I couldn't make fit correctly so I figured that eventually I would get it adjusted correctly. That never happened.

Here is a pic to satisfy your curiosities. It even looks uncomfortable in the photo.

Yeah, there was a bit of hype, in the forum communities anyways, and I never had a problem making a watch in that size range actually fit.

It's not just that it's thick, it's unbalanced is the problem I had.

I could never get truly comfortable with the Pro or the BB Gmt.
Really like the pro design, but even the t fit didn't help.

I wear mine on leather and it's one of the most comfortable watches I own.

I agree, though. Comfort/fit is not the forte of the 41mm BB bracelet. (Personally, I would have invested whatever money they put into those rivets into some form of micro adjustment, but hey, that's me).

I have found, though, the half link from Uncle Seiko to be a game changer. I wear it on two of my Tudors and it has dramatically improved the comfort/fitment of both. YMMV.

I think when pointing out Tudor's shortcomings, which are all valid, we just need to keep in mind that Tudor still reports to the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation and every feature is made as a business decision with Rolex first and foremost.

I'm not a believer in the movement issues causing a thicker case. Theres plenty of other cheaper brands and existing technology like the BB58 that can make a thinner case. Its one of the most ridiculous things I've heard.

Also with CPO, I cant see it being good for Tudor for the short to medium term as Rolex would want to point folks to their overpriced CPO 5 digit models for thinner cases and non rivets rather than invest in Tudor development.

My Tudor trio to show my support for Tudor but with managed expectations.

Good points and a very nice trio.

Kudos for 'managed expectations.'

Gosh that looks really ugly with that strap and those gigantic endlinks. (I can say this since you’ve sold it )

I like the watch as a whole on the bracelet granted I’ve only tried it on and not actually worn it.

They are the end links from the 41mm Black Bay. Part number is 681 ST. Pelagos rubber fits the gap perfectly. Stock BB GMT end link opening is too small.

It is far from the prettiest watch, although I think part of the issue is the camera. My phone seems to create a weird effect in pictures when certain things are closer to the camera. It elongates them. This is the original thread I found which shows some better (more proportional) pics: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=755493

Nevertheless, the watch is long gone, so fire away!
