Yes. Not surprised as the DJ is the most recognizable rolex model in the world

I tend to wear long sleeves, but the one that’s had most comments is my hulk,

The fluted bezel scintillates and is attention grabbing.

And the Datejust is quintessential Rolex.

My Submariner however flies under the radar.

My good friend died for his Datejust 2. That was a 41mm I believe. Although he could of been wearing a 36mm and it still would of been spotted by the cowards. They are both doing a 30 year stretch after being caught by the Met Police.

If the wrong person spots you, don’t matter what you’re wearing.

Take care and enjoy that beauty.

Your watch sure has a great look. Hard not to notice if someone likes watches.

I'm very sorry to hear that - nobody should die for a watch.

Where I live, nobody really cares.

I have a DJ36, Sub, OP, and Daytona. I wear them interchangeably depending on how I feel when I get up. I also wear G-Shocks, Hamilton, and a host of others and none of them ever get noticed.

On Saturday I let my 6 year old daughter pick my watch and she picked a teal colored G-Shock. Later that afternoon she pointed out to my wife that she had picked my watch for the day and pulled up my sleeve to show my wife. My wife then commented that she didn't know that watch and had no idea when it entered the house. That is probably the ONLY time that anyone has really said anything about any of my watches in years.

It probably does depend on your industry and your own working situation. But it makes no difference for me at all.

Yes....been wearing Rolexes for over 30 years and have had many more comments about my 36mm DJ(s) than the GMTII and EXPII I have owned.

Take from that, that most people don’t care what you wear. It’s mostly only us WIS who pay attention to such things.

Like you I wear for myself so couldn’t care less re others comments

I would add that a lot of people just don't compliment or say anything most of the time. I personally don't say anything unless it's someone I'm close to or something really, really special.

The Datejust is a flashier and more expensive looking watch. All the watch comments I have gotten involved my 36mm DJ. My Sub just looks like a standard sports watch to most non watch folks; it is no different than a metal Casio to them.

Not personally but it's all over the news. Anything Rolex will attract the wrong crown in certain places. People get robbed for 5K OPs.
