Agree, the open case back is unique for Rolex and though the finishing on the movement may not be to the level of other brands, I appreciate the addition.

History since March has shown values are heading down on Daytona, and platinum is no exception. Look on C24 and there are always over 300 for sale starting at £75k ish. Who would pay much more? I’m getting into an unused one for less than that but am not expecting it to go up in value whilst inflationary pressures and higher rates are around. Going to be a more normall market for Rolex in the next few years.
