They updated the CHNR? Any more detail?

It has always been 0002. I actually made a post about this last year:

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=854578

I didn't get a clear answer as to why there is no 0001. My guess is 0001 is the LN and 0002 is the LV but I'm not 100%.

One of the first pics I took of my LVC unboxing and it was obvious it had AR. The crystal disappears. Other older Rolex models I had to work with to get the glare off. So far for me the LVC and Daytona clearly benefit from AR.

Here’s my hang tag from my LV that I bought in October. I think the 0002 just signifies the LV bezel.

interesting. That would make the MK1 only a 2'ish year run? Curious to see side-by-side pictures.

I am guessing he means brighter. If it really is a take on the Kermit green.

If true then I just won the Rolex lottery this week as my white SS Daytona was discontinued and so was my Mark 1 LVC Sub.

I called a local AD this afternoon. He said they had a Rolex presentation this morning and was told there was indeed a change to the green shade.

Think the 70th anniversary lighter green will be popular, but to be honest I can hardly tell the difference. Just like the Pepsi, all about the same demand and price.

I was looking at the press photos of the Submariner 2020 launch and indeed the color is noticeably darker. It is true that the color changes shade depending on the light but the images both on the Rolex website and in the press room are computer generated so they are "taken" in the same light conditions and the variation between the shades of green of the 2020 and the one that currently appears on their website is noticeable.

Starting this Monday, the online renders for several watches look lighter. Including DateJust dials. I’m not saying that Rolex did not change the color, just that we really can’t tell by looking at the online renders.

I guess I have no choice but to go buy a second LV Sub and compare the two.

I'm not saying Rolex haven't changed the bezel but you cannot say that two rendered images are "taken" in the same light unless they are created using identical colour palettes on perfectly calibrated screens using identical software and created from the same base image.

You would also need to be viewing the rendered images on a perfectly calibrated screen to have an accurate rendition of what the image creator intended.

Only two real watches photographed side by side in perfectly even lighting will enable a valid comparison.

Y’all it’s just that they put some better light bulbs in the display case and it’s showing the color the bezel has in natural sunlight. I own one and my hang tag also says 126610LV-002 and mine looks exactly like the photo when I’m out in the sun. I even gave up trying to take photos of my cermit because they are so hard to capture that green in a photo. They always turn out darker and bland.
