But I'm quite amazed with the story as I had a bad experience at AP House in Mayfair when they asked & I told them I bought 2 watches from my HK AD. Literally just sat there playing on their phone after taking the watches out for me to browse

I would tell you there is an option to ask for the strap model and buy the bracelet separately from AP (albeit not cheap). I think the bracelet was around 34k USD.

I had to go that route as the bracelet versions were all sold/allocated for 2023.

I assume there is no "allocation" for the bracelet and the strap version is easier to get allocated?

Going that direction looks to cost an extra $12K....

Yeah but technically if you compare apples to apples and buy the bracelet and then get the leather/rubber straps + deployant it’s about 6k more (I think that’s the ballpark).

According to AP HK, they need approval for the bracelet if you buy the 15510 OR on a leather strap... Couple of years ago they didn't make an issue out of it buy ordering the bracelet separately.

I just got the call for the 15510 OR... Still thinking, again.
