Don't touch the watch!

Anyone remember the scene from American Psycho, where Patrick Bateman is sleeping in between two 'ladies'? One reaches out for his arm and accidentally touches his Rolex, which triggers him to flick away her hand while muttering 'Don't touch the watch!' (the novel said Rolex but they were not too happy with their name being mentioned in the film).
This is about the same feeling I'm getting when you show up at a party with a (new) Rolex on the wrist. Some people just feel the sudden urge to grab your wrist, clutch the case, or worse, the bezel to have a gander.
I always tense up when I hear the dreaded phrase, 'can I have a look' and bam, their fingerprints are all over the bezel. I even know a lady who take her dress and give it a quick wipedown before releasing my wrist.
Not sure how to address this, or it may be my OCD, but man it stresses me out!

Anyone else have this?? Sometime I'm really caught off guard!
