Thank you, it sure looks great on your wrist.

It looks like smoky green dial, sunray-brushed with a gradient effect (darker on the periphery), some call whisper green. I think it's good that sometime the dial looks dark grey to black on some angle, make it more interesting to look at it.

If that’s your mindset then you’ll like it. Lots of grey greens, and black greens. Just spent an hour in sun and it does give you those greens but it gets shy when I take the phone out.

Today I got a new green santos in medium size, it's very hard to capture green in the picture but I still like it.

Looks great! I took some pix of one I tried on and I liked it, but yes it's very difficult t to capture the green. In most pix it looks grayish black. This is the photo that best displayed the green of the dial. I took it indoors. Not sure how it would look in natural light. I found the blue dial much easier to photograph.

Seems like the arabic version is much greener.

Glad I found this thread. I prefer my green dials green not black and grey with a hint of green in some lighting. Still a nice watch fellas wear in good health

Yes, I noticed at the boutique when they put it on the green strap, it really brought out the green in the dial.

IIRC, the green of the Arabic dial model is a different green. I actually like the new green/black dial. If I didn't have my blue dial, I'd probably already have purchased it.

I find it to be a cool piece, but yeah, I think I’d want a more prominent green.
I also love the large blue dial with PVD bezel…

Cartier’s website is terrible! Always when there are new releases zero information is there on the site. Even with the green medium size WSSA0061, it doesn’t exist according to Cartier but you can easily buy it at AD’s websites and Chrono24. Such a weird web presence.

Just saw this watch in an AD’s window… it’s darker, but still very much a solid shade of green.

I find the green perfect for a Cartier Santos. Cool, classic and sophisticated.

Must they haven't updated the site for where you live. Both sizes for the green Santos and the medium blue are on the Cartier website for the US.

It is a beautiful green. However I can’t capture it on camera.

Got it in Tokyo from Cartier. Then saw it on display at a Tokyo AD and in Duty Free in Narita airport. Shouldn’t be hard to get.

I wish we could get the arabic version of this green in the US from Cartier. IMO its a better green with a less scratchy bezel and that rubber strap with screws goes with the bezel and green color

The dial is spectacular when you see it in person. Pictures do not do it justice.

I guess so yeah. But this happens all the time with new releases, also on their international website. "For more information go to Cartier.com" and then... nothing

I picked up my large green santos in early June and I haven't stopped wearing it since.

I really like that the green isn't in your face, it's dark green, almost black most of the time, and then every so often it surprises you with a green or grey dial, and if you are really lucky, it'll show you a flash of PURPLE.

It's not a vulgar green like the Hulk, and I like that.

I included a shot of the dial going purple, which does not happen very often.

Very cool. If I didn't already have a classic Santos, I would've picked one up

Thanks for sharing some pix. I like the dark green Santos a lot. I think it's very nice combination of subtle, sporty, and elegant. I'd give one some serious thought if I didn't already have the large blue Santos.
