It varies depending on the weather. I rotate between watches - now that it's summer, I'm wearing steal and rubber straps. I typically wash at the end of the week. If it's humid out, I'll wash it the day of.

I generally give mine a scrub about every 2 to 3 days for my daily. I just use a face soap and a old soft tooth brush. Rinse and pat dry.

We wear watches in a place that tends to get dirty and so I prefer to wash it when I get home for the day when I wash my hands, both with dish soap. I don't rotate watches and I wear this for all occasions, so it gets dirty as a byproduct of life.

If I sweat a lot or notice a good bit of oils and/or dust, it's time to give it a Dawn dish soap bath and gently dry with a Zeiss lens cloth that I change out every 1-2 months.

This frequency could be every day, or it could be once a week. Just depends on what's happened.

If I'm ever traveling with two watches, I will be sure to make sure the watch is very clean before putting into a pouch or the small Pelican case I have for watches.

I’ve never cleaned any watch I’ve ever owned. I wear only one watch and I wear it 24/7, through any amount of life and dirt (I have a rough working life). I only have more than one watch when one is being sold and hasn’t yet been moved on — I just don’t get why would anyone could possibly need more than one $10,000 watch!?

My watch gets rinsed in the bath or shower and the RSC (or OSC) clean them when they go for service. Life is too short to be fannying about washing watches!

When I'm wearing a watch it will get washed in the shower every time I have a shower. If the clasp has tool less adjustment I will loosen it for the wash.

If my watch is not on a leather strap and I'm in a hot climate, then it'll go with me into the shower. I get washed, watch gets watched. Sometimes, this can be twice a day but more often than not, daily.

When I'm in a cooler less sweaty climate, then if it looks dirty I'll wash it, if not, it'll be cleaned before I put it back into the box for rotation.

Also, I just use a bit of Dawn and warm water. Rinsed with that same temperature water, and wiped lightly with a high-nap microfiber towel - the Oystersteel then shines deeply and brightly.

Pretty much daily, and during the summer sometimes more:
- After I've been outside in the sun (sweat)
- After pool
- After SPA

No soap or anything and no scrubbing, just a quick rinse & dry with a towel.

Usually every few days. You'll start to see it not looking at crisp after a few days. A simple rinse followed by dawn dish soap lather does the trick.

Daily washing is excessive IMO unless you work in a coal mine. I probably wash mine once or twice month with diluted Dawn and a wristclean brush. Wipe dry with a soft T-shirt or cloth. Let sit out under my ceiling fan overnight to dry off. Seems to be sufficient for every watch I have owned.

If exposed to salt water or chlorine pools / hot tubs, I wash as soon as possible.
